Children & Youth:
|
- All children and parents of children ages 0-4, please join Mrs. Lew for an interactive class to celebrate God's creation of the world!
- We end this quarter with another Bible story showing us how “God is Great! God Rules!”
- Treasure Verse with Zion the Lion: “Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim His greatness. Let the whole world know what He has done.” 1 Corinthians 16:8
- We continue to learn about the many ways in which God is in charge. Join us as we dive into 2 Corinthians.
- As followers of Jesus, we’re called to put our faith into action. This lesson focuses on the second of the Four Acts of Love: fearless conversation. We will examine what a fearless conversation truly is, and learn how these kinds of conversations connect to their everyday lives through taking risks, truly listening, and being respectful and loving.
- The Open Book class taught by Arla Caraboolad is located in the old youth chapel.
- The online class is starting the second half of the gospel (Matt., Mark, Luke and John) in Love's Playbook #14. This class will meet December 2 from 8:45-10:00. If you would like to join call Barbara Ricketts at (805) 701-9134 to be put on the text list. The book is available on Amazon.com/author/arlacaraboolad.
- The Open Book Class voted to start Love's Playbook 2 (Genesis). It's the story of a good God--how the events of Scripture unfolded to a watching universe. The book is also available on Amazon.com/author/arlacaraboolad.
- The Lost Parent Class taught by Michael Peabody is currently studying Scott Reed’s new book, The Power of a Dad. This book is perfect for parents of all ages and levels of experience.
- The Deep Dive taught by Rob Randall and Kevin Smith is located in the east wing classroom 14.
