This Week @ The Place -2 SERVICES

This Sabbath, Dec. 11th we have TWO services.
|
|
At 10:30 a.m. we have ALL our Sabbath School classes followed by our 11:30 service in the Youth Chapel.
|
|
In the afternoon, at 4 p.m. in the Sanctuary we will have a special Sabbath worship/Christmas extravaganza. We will have a special telling of the Christmas story, worship, music and lots of fun as we celebrate together. Pastor Simon will share the Christmas story from Revelation 20. Nathan Beddoe is our lead worshiper.

~The Place Christmas Party THIS Saturday night (following our afternoon service - and showing The Chosen afterwards). Bring a GIFT for your child and SIGN UP for dinner.
Following our service, at 5:30 p.m. we will have a Fellowship Dinner/Christmas party with a visit from Santa! Please bring a gift for your little one if you would like Santa to help deliver it.

At 7 p.m. (following our Christmas dinner) ALL are invited to a very special Christmas

viewing of the brand-new Christmas episode of THE CHOSEN. This is ONLY available in movie theaters or churches who have signed up to show it. It is a great opportunity to BRING a friend.

The cost of the tickets is $11, but The Place is covering the cost. We invite you to donate to help cover the cost of this outreach event if you can. Please sign up so we know you are coming.

~Attend the Women's Ministry Christmas Party & Cookie Exchange on Wednesday, December 15th (wear your favorite Christmas sweater!)
Our Women's Ministry Small Group will celebrate the Christmas season with a Christmas Party & cookie exchange on Wednesday, December 15th beginning at 7 p.m. Please bring at least 1 dozen of your favorite cookies to share. The festivities will take place at Kristi's home (2469 Woodcreek Rd. in Camarillo), please come dressed in your favorite Christmas sweater!

~Baptism & Fellowship lunch on Sabbath, Dec. 18th

Fellowship Lunch and Baptism of Sophia Peabody - at Jon and Mandy's home. Invite everyone, but especially Junior High families to come and celebrate with Sophia and then swim, play and have worship together afterwards.

~Get involved with Community Service
|
The Place is once again participating in the LA Marathon (or 1/2 marathon) in our efforts to raise money to build wells for needy kids around the world. The Place will partner with Team World Vision on March 20, 2022. Every $50 raised provides one LIFETIME of clean water for a child!
