This Sabbath @ The Place- We have 2 services!
This Sabbath, we have TWO worship services...at 11:30 a.m. in the Youth Chapel (and Sabbath School for all ages at 10:30 a.m.) and at 4 p.m. in the Sanctuary.

Pastor Simon continues our sermon series on the book of HEBREWS called "Life in the Son" with a sermon focused on Hebrews 3:7-19. Pastor Cameron is our lead worshiper, and we will have an Olympic battle.

~Play flag football this Sunday morning & watch the BIG GAME @ the Jahn's
ALL are invited to get into the Super Bowl spirit by coming out to play Flag Football at 10 a.m. on the NPAA field (180 Academy Drive, NP).

Then, Andy & Marlena will graciously host a SUPER BOWL party at their home beginning at 3 p.m.

The Los Angeles Rams will battle the Cincinnati Bengals. ALL are invited to a watch party. Please bring a side dish to share if you can and your swimsuit if you would like to swim.

~"Slime Sabbath" next week-a Children's Ministry Event
All kids preK-5th are invited to attend our next Children's Ministry Event, next Sabbath afternoon following church services. We will have a "Slime Sabbath" complete with slime, activities, snacks, and a devotion for kids to enjoy. We hope to see your kiddos there!

~Baptism of Aidan Fuller & picnic on Saturday, February 19th
Everyone is invited to the baptism of Aiden Fuller on Saturday afternoon February 19th at Sycamore Cove beginning at 2 p.m. following church. Please bring a picnic and celebrate Aiden's baptism together.

~Hume Lake High School Winter Camp-SIGN UP-LAST CALL
|
Calling ALL High Schoolers! Winter Camp @ Hume Lake has been reserved for the weekend of February 25-27th. Come enjoy solid biblical teaching, and a weekend of snow, boxsledding blitz, monster tube run, broom hockey, and the snowboard mountain.

~YESS Soccer starts on Sunday, March 13th
|
All young people are invited to join YESS soccer on Sunday mornings for 10 weeks starting Sunday. March 13th from 9:30 - 11 a.m. at the CAES field in Newbury Park. We will have 3 age groups: 3–5-year-old; 6 - 9-year-old; and 10–13-year-old. Older young people are invited to volunteer to help. Cost is $20 per child ($15 for each additional child in a family).

~New Small Group

Pastor Cameron and Alexa have started a new young adult small group meeting on Sunday late afternoons. Please let them know if you are interested.
|
We are also looking to form a new depression recovery group with Sam Gomez leading out. If you are interested, please talk to one of the pastors.

And, if you are interested in forming a new small group let one of the pastors know.

~Maranatha Mission Trip August 2022
The Place will be going on a Maranatha Mission Project early August 2022 to Ica, Peru. We will be finishing the construction of an Evangelism/Health Education Center, sharing a VBS with the kids and having a medical/dental outreach to the community. Cost is TBD as of now but will be only $150 for the project fee and actual cost of travel.
