This Sabbath we have TWO services. At 11:30 a.m. in the Youth Chapel (with SABBATH SCHOOL for all ages at 10:30 a.m.) and at 4 p.m. in the Sanctuary.

Pastor Simon continues our sermon series on the book of HEBREWS called "Life in the Son" with a sermon focused on Hebrews 7:11-28. Cameron Fitzgerald is our lead worshipers, and Quoc and Jenna Ha dedicate Gwin.
|
We will have a BABY SHOWER for Sam and Nancy Quiroz at 5:30 p.m. following our evening service. We will also have GAMES for all young people.

Sabbath School this Week
Join us IN-PERSON at 10:30 a.m. We have classes for all ages including cradle roll, pre-K, 1-2d, 3-5th, Jr. High, Youth and Adults.

Every Sabbath at 10:30 a.m. with Sergio and Keila leading out. We would love to have you join us...or invite a friend who speaks Spanish!

~Attend the Anxiety & Depression Recovery Group-continues THIS Monday April 11th
|
Anyone struggling with depression or with family/friends who do so is welcome to join our upcoming group. It will use Dr. Nedley's 8-week Recovery Program, led by our Associate Director Sam Gomez. The group started this past Monday, but it is NOT too late to join in.

Meeting every Monday from 7pm-9pm for 8 weeks at THE PLACE CHURCH.

Participation Kit is $100 (that is our actual cost for the kit!)

~YESS Soccer continues THIS Sunday
|
All young people are invited to join YESS soccer on Sunday mornings for 10 weeks. It continues this Sunday from 9:30 - 11 a.m. at the CAES field in Newbury Park. We have 3 age groups: 3–5-year-old; 6 - 9-year-old; and 10–13-year-old. Older young people are invited to volunteer to help. Cost is $20 per child ($15 for each additional child in a family).

The Place is growing! We are so thrilled to announce the baby showers of 2 of our dear members happening in April.

Saturday evening, April 9th: Baby shower for Sam & Nancy Quiroz beginning at 5:30 p.m. after 2nd service. Please stay and enjoy an evening of fellowship and fun as we celebrate soon to be baby boy Quiroz #2. Please bring a dish to share, out theme will be Mexican. ~Easter Children's Ministry Event-April 16th Petting zoo & egg dying
All children are invited to attend our special Easter Sabbath event, Petting Zoo & Easter egg dying. The event will begin after church services at 1 p.m. in the patio area. Please stop by to take part in this wonderful time together.

~Participate in our Maranatha Mission Trip August 2022-we have our group air reservations
|
The Place will be going on a Maranatha Mission Project early August 2022 to Ica, Peru. We will be finishing the construction of an Evangelism/Health Education Center, sharing a VBS with the kids and having a medical/dental outreach to the community. Cost is TBD as of now but will be only $150 for the project fee and actual cost of travel.
